Margaux

Margaux lays on a soil of white graves - a special kind of gravel brought from the mountains by the river. Margaux (also a female name in France) is the quintessence of the terroir and of the winemaker's work. Margaux wines are known for their subtle elegance in spite of their power because the blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties achieves this result only in Margaux. The soil in Margaux has the ability to reduce the impact of Cabernet Sauvignon making it more subtle and delicate.
