Made predominately from old vines the wine is constructed from two thirds Cabernet Sauvignon with the remaining third a blend of Cinsault and Carignon. The wine is vinified in the classical Bordeaux way with one to two weeks maceration followed by malolactic fermentation. It is then aged in French oak casks for three years before bottling.
