John Frazier, the eponymous founder of Frazier's Wine Merchants, originally qualified as a Chartered Surveyor working for Grimleys in Birmingham.  Later on he joined his Father in Morris's Wine stores becoming a director and founded Frazier's upon the sale of Morris's to Vaux Brewers. John's hobbies include shooting, fishing and golf. His favourite wines are to be found in France, particularly Bordeaux and especially a little Chateau named Y'Quem.

William joined the business shortly after school and after working in all departments is now mainly responsible for the web site and business development. William's hobbies include Poker and Clay Shooting. His favourite wines are Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay more or less wherever they come from.

Steve joined Morris's in 1987 after working in the public house sector, he later went on to join John Frazier when Morris's were sold to Vaux brewery and has helped to develop the company to where it is today, he is passionate about the wine trade and likes nothing more than finding new and unusual wines to add to the Frazier's portfolio. He has produced the Frazier's wine catalogue for the last 20 years and is responsible for the day to day running of the company. His interests include Shooting, Cricket, Rugby and Football and is a Birmingham City supporter, so is used to the challenges life throws at him!

 

John Marsden - Sales ExecutiveJohn Marsden

John previously worked for Maxxium U.K. Ltd for 20+ years and for Bulmer's Cider prior to that, joining Frazier's in 2011. He is married and he and his wife have 5 daughters between them. His hobbies are music, walking and watching his football team. You will have to ask which one but a clue is that they have just won a cup for the first time in over 40 years.

 

Edward WhitehillEdward Whitehill - Sales and Logistics

Edward started working for the company after leaving University in 1995. Edward organises the day to day logistics of Frazier's, helps run our on-line sales and Website as well as providing a key support role for Steve. Edward spends most of his spare time with his wife and two children which leaves him little time to enjoy his favourite tipple red wines from Bordeaux.

 

 

 

Linda Brown - PA and Office Manager


Linda started working as a secretary for Morris's in 1988, working then for  Mr K Frazier and Mr J Frazier and is now P.A./ Office Manager.   Linda's hobbies are travelling, gardening and craft.   Her favourite wine is a Sauvignon Blanc, preferably from New Zealand.

Mandy Leyland - Reception

Mandy joined the company in 2007 and prides herself in her role as receptionist. She's developing her knowledge of the wine trade and enjoys being further involved in sales development and supporting the team. Her hobbies include gardening, jewellery making and freestyle/street dancing. She prefers red wine, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but is learning to appreciate white wine !

Vicki Melhuish - Manager Lapworth

Joined Morris's Wine Stores in 1988, moving to Vaux when Mr K Frazier sold. I rejoined John Frazier in 1998 and have been Manager at the Lapworth branch since 2000. My favourite wines are Gewurztraminer and Cloudy Bay Pelorus, I also enjoy Pineau des Charentes.
