Grapes: 65% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc & 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37ha on limestone plateau, hand harvested, aged for 18 to 32 months in 70% new oak

"Aromes de Pavie" is the second wine of 1er Grand Cru Classé "A" Chateau Pavie.

A deep garnet-purple hue introduces a bouquet rich with earthy nuances—fertile loam, truffle, and mossy bark—interwoven with plum preserves, chocolate-covered cherries, and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it presents a medium to full body, vibrant acidity, and plush tannins, culminating in a spicy, invigorating finish. While approachable now, Arômes de Pavie 2017 will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 8–10 years, rewarding those with the patience to cellar.
