Baileys 2010 Durif is made in the traditional Australian style with the fruit reaching full maturity on the vine. The winemaking process is carefully managed to further enhance Durif’s rich full flavour profile. This wine was predominantly matured in American oak, supplementing its fullness and further building its structure and roundness. Durif is Australian for Petite Sirah, Interestingly Baileys of Glenrowan produce two wines from the same vines, on the same plot. The Petite Sirah is simply picked one week earlier than the Durif giving a less sweet , less alcoholic wine.
