A deep ruby garnet, full bodied red made from the Nebbiolo grape which turns rich red with age. Full aromas of dried fruit and leather; a good balance of acidity and tannin with an intense, lingering finish.
The "Castagni" vineyard in the comune of La Morra lies at an altitude of 370 to 450 metres above sea level. It produces fruity, elegant Barolo wines. The grapes grown in this vineyard contribute to the production of cru Barolo DOCG Castagni.
