This Beaujolais Villages "Nouveau" wine is from the better positioned vineyards surrounding the town of Beaujolais and fermented naturally with no sulphites added. This gives the wine a little more weight than our straight Beaujolais Nouveau which is also available. Beaujolais Nouveau owes its easy drink ability to a winemaking process called carbonic maceration, also called whole berry fermentation.
