55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot in Oak barrels (1/3rd new) for 12 months.
“Mid crimson. Medium intensity – rather medium in every respect. Sweet and round and charming already. Very Margaux. A little sinewy on the end but the tannins are very well managed. This could be GV so long as you don't need a very long-term wine. Hint of mintiness. Neat finish. Jancis Robinson” 16.5/20 Jancis Robinson
With the high proportion of Merlot giving fragrance, and Cabernet offering an impressive structure. A very pretty intensely floral nose leads onto an engaging palate of great balance. The structure and shape in the mouth is ample but remains fresh, whilst the flavours on the finish linger with great focus.
