Chateau Beaumont, Cru Bourgeois Haut Médoc, Bordeaux, France, 2019    

Grapes: 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. Yield: 55hl/ha. Ageing: 12 to14 months in oak. Soil: Gunzian gravel. Vineyard area: Single block of 113ha Vineyard age: 20 years average.

The chateau is located at Cussac, between the communes of Margaux and Saint Julien. 

Château Beaumont 2019 is characterised by roundness, harmony and fruitiness. The Merlot gives a lovely fruitiness and some sweetness, while the Cabernet Sauvignon brings concentration and the Petit Verdot a spicy touch.

"The 2019 Beaumont has turned out very well, wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet berry fruit, pencil shavings and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with a fleshy core of fruit, lively acids and melting tannins, it's charming and nicely balanced. It's the finest wine from this large château that I can remember tasting."
