These Magnums of Chateau Cissac have been cellared in great conditions since being bought directly from the Chateau by an ex employee who we bought them off. A great chance to drink to drink some mature Château Cissac.
Note from the Vilard Family
"Although the 1983 Bordeaux vintage on the whole wasn’t as good as 1982, that fact certainly doesn’t worry this wine, the wine is starting to show a few signs of age, the colour now reflecting brick red and slight browning on the rim, the aromatic nose of cassis and cedar wood and spicy notes gives away a little of the deep and rich character that follows. Generous ripe fruit and silky tannins, this wine is still fresh and lively, the finish of blackcurrants and spice is full and long. Another example of the great longevity of Château Cissac, showing some signs of maturity but still with a long future ahead."
