Château Cissac 2013, Haut Medoc, Bordeaux, France
Grape varieties, 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black center. Initially quite closed, displaying a rather elegant nose with complex approach, vanilla, roasted coffee and dark chocolate, blackberries, elderberries and hints of mild spices. On the palate well balanced with elegant but persistent character, plenty of juicy fruit, quite mature tanning and fine acidity. A classic style with length. 89/100 Markus Del Monego
Great with rich beef and venison dishes.
