The dominance of the Merlot is apparent on the nose with black fruits (cassis) and notes of dark cherry and plum, truffles, coffee, vanilla and liquorice spice. In the mouth, the wine is silky smooth and elegant, with good complexity and structure from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The finish is long and fine.
