From the cold, clayish land of Bío-Bío, this beautiful green-yellow Gewürztraminer displays a complex and expressive nose filled with the aromatic presence of fresh fruits, rose petals and hints of spices and litchi fruit. In mouth, it’s an expressive, fresh and savoury wine, with stone fruit notes. A rich, opulent, young Gewürztraminer, very balanced and persistent.
A great wine to enjoy on its own as an aperitif wine. Gewürztraminer goes great with creamy cheeses like Cottage and Fromage, and also a bit harder ones like Mozzarella and Jarlsberg. It’s a good choice for accompanying dishes like fried calamari, onion quiche, chicken Satay or Teriyaki, Pad Thai, bacon and pineapple pizza dishes.
Cono Sur’s famous geese roam the vineyards freely throughout the growing season, eating the insects and pests that would, if unchecked, attack and damage the vines. Thanks to their insatiable appetite the grapes can grow without the need for spray pesticides. The balance of the ecosystem in the vineyard is preserved.
Since its beginning, Cono Sur Winery has been deeply committed to creating eco-friendly practices that work hand in hand with high quality wine production.
