Grape: 100% Chardonnay, 15 year old vines planted on clay/limestone soil, sustainable lutte raisonnée farming, combined stainless steel tank ferment and barrel ferment wines (with lees stirring)
With a yellow colour and green reflections, the nose of this Chardonnay reveals notes of candied pineapple and clementine, with a hint of spicy vanilla and floral linden. On the palate, roasted/candied pineapple is felt on a bed of brioche, with a toasty finish.
Domaine de Pellehaut has been run for more than 300 years by successive generations of the Béraut family.
