Displays an intense purplish red colour with black hues. It has aromas of violets and black fruits as well as spicy notes and remarkable freshness. In the mouth it stands out for its great concentration, marked acidity and silky tannins. It is a very elegant wine with excellent ageing potential.
"The 2010 Los Indios Parcel Malbec is a small production wine from tiny-yielding vines in a vineyard called Los Indios in Altamira in the Uco Valley fermented in new French oak barrels, where the wine ages for 16 months. In this case there is perfect integration between fruit and wood. The violet and dry rose petal aromas jump out of the glass and the palate is medium-bodied, sleek, with buttery-tannins, but I-d have liked a little more acidity. This is a great Malbec, even though the price seems a little disproportionate. Drink now-2020. Dona Paula belongs to the Santa Rita winery from Chile. They are at the forefront of terroir investigation driven by winemaker David Bonomi, and have great vineyards in the Uco Valley: Gualtallary, Altamira and Los Cerezos. A name to follow." 92/100 Wineadvocate
