André Colonge is a 30-hectare family domaine with a long history in the region. Currently, the estate is run by two brothers, Landry and Samuel. The property is located in Lancié, where they produce Beaujolais Villages wines.

The nose reveals the character of the terroir: dominant floral and spicy with lilac, violet and pepper. Silky tannins and ripe black fruits, gentle spice and pepper.

Critic's Tasting Note:

"Fleurie AOC, one of the most elegant appellations in Beaujolais, skillfully cultivates this paradox: wines that are both tender and vibrant, where freshness never extinguishes sensuality. This one, by André Colonge, is born on granite hillsides where the vines, caressed by the wind, produce Gamays of airy finesse. On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of ripe red fruits—juicy raspberry, wild strawberry, crisp cherry—before blossoming into a floral breath. On the palate, the body is silky, almost tactile, unfolding its aromas with the fluidity of a conversation between old friends. The fruit blossoms, fresh and delicious, before a light spicy undertone—white pepper, a hint of licorice—reminds us that sweetness can also have character. The finish, of quiet elegance, stretches into a mineral freshness that evokes sun-warmed stone after rain. A wine that's light without being frivolous, charming without being overpowering. Serve at 16°C. Nothing better to accompany grilled chicken, chicken burgers, croque-monsieur, braised pork, calf's liver, apricot-glazed ham, or meat pie."
