Grape variety, 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, aged for 2 years in oak foudres, of which 50% is new oak.
Purple in colour with an intense nose dominated by peach and apricot with liquorice and notes of undergrowth. Generous, powerful and full-bodied with a long elegant finish. A frank attack, racy with soft tannic structure.
Great with red meat, game and cheese.
Grown on ancient alluvia, red clay and gravel on the slopes with the average age of the vines being 40 years.
