Grapes: A blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Vinhao (Sousao), Tinta Amarela (Trincadeira) & Tinta Barroca

With a lovely fruit nose, with plummy, black cherry aromas, but there are some figgy, chocolaty notes, as well as obvious oak. Well structured palate, with good tannins and a fresh lemony acidity.

Critic's Tasting Note:

"Blackberry and cassis fruit, herbal undertones. Super-juicy but with a long firm central line that seems to be woven from eucalyptus, liquorice and mouth-watering minerality. So fresh as a result! Satin tannins that disappear into the deep pool of fruit. Testing this wine (for possible food-pairing ideas) with chocolate ganache and treacle tart made it taste almost dry! Avoid very sweet desserts with this port. Good Value" Drink 2024-2027
