Description
Halfpenny Pinot Noir, South Staffordshire, England, 2019
Grape: Pinot Noir, aged in oak
Light-bodied, earthy & smooth with notes of cherry, strawberry & vanilla. Giving way to a crisp, dry, smoky finish.
Our wines are all hand-crafted in our winery by the Vickers family, using grapes grown in 30 acres of vineyards in South Staffordshire. The first vineyard at Halfpenny Green was planted by Martin Vickers in 1983 and now there are 16 different grape varieties grown for production of award-winning sparkling and still wines.
Drink this Pinot Noir wine on its own, or with mushroom risotto, smoked duck or salmon dishes.
