A perfume of cherry and raspberry is followed on the palate by a darker blackcurrant note mingled with strawberry and a wisp of smoke. A structured Beaujolais with chalky tannins, its added richness would partner well with roast guinea fowl.
A fine Cru Beaujolais. Round and light with flavours reminiscent of fresh redcurrant. This domain is situated on the hilly slopes of Julienas. The granite soils and beneficial exposure enable Claude to pick grapes with all the fragrance and fruit of good Fleurie but with slightly more body.
