Produced by Matahiwi Estate just north of the capital, Wellington, at the southern end of the North Island.
"Outnumbered" Pinot Gris is made in a style more closely associated with those of Alsace in France.
An off-dry, lusciously textured wine with aromas of pear and spice and a tropical richness on the palate.
Drink with spicy Indian or Asian cuisine (Sushi). The wine's sweetness balances the spice and heat of the food. Also try with chicken or salmon dishes.
