This wine is named after the stack location where the barrels of wine were matured in Penfold's Barossa Valley winery's barrel hall.
Sourced from Shiraz vines grown in the Marananga district of the Barossa Valley and matured in American and French Oak for 15 months, this wine, like all Penfolds wines, will benefit from careful cellaring.
Arguably more complex than the inaugural 2008 release. This 2010 Bin 150 offer affords an insightful probe mirroring Marananga’s higher notes, finer/lacier tannins, and Shiraz fruit purity. For all to see, for all to taste ... for quite some time.
