A bright wine. Complex array of aromas on the nose, with notes of red fruits and liquorice and subtle hints of toast, spices and cinnamon. Silky, pleasant and enveloping on the palate, long, balanced, with very good tannins.
Great with grilled red meats, veal and vegetables.
Wine Makers Notes: Alcoholic fermentation for 10 days, following by skin contact maceration for 18 days. Fermentation was carried out at 28ºC with malolactic in stainless steel tanks. 12 months in American oak with 2 rackings followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle until going on sale.
