Great wines need good storage. We have storage space in one the best places in the United Kingdom – deep inside Harpur Hill in Buxton. This chalk hill has three kilometres of tunnels that provide a wonderful, cool and stable environment – without expensive air conditioning.
This means we can offer the most competitive storage rates around.
- Storage: £8.25 + VAT per case per year.
- Intake: £8.75 + VAT per case intake charge (free if the wines are bought from us).

All storage charges are invoiced annually in advance in June, and cover the whole year or part year.
Wines stored on your behalf in bond are not covered by our insurance. We recommend you insure them under your household policy. This cover can usually be added for about 1% of their value. We can provide an insurance valuation.
Duty and VAT payable on goods withdrawn is due before removal.
