Dark ruby coloured with purple hints. The nose is fresh, fruity and ripe, showing raspberry and plums. The palate is medium-bodied, supple and easy drinking, with abundant red fruits and juicy tannins.
The fruit is destemmed and lightly crushed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts at a temperature of 28°C. There follows 8 days maceration before the wine is run off to tank for 4 months maturation prior to bottling. This is one of the best value Vin Pays d'oc Merlots around. The winery was founded by Claude Vialade in 1995 and still family owned and run.
A great match for meat and game pies, cold meats and quiches.
