Gin

The name Gin is derived either from the french or dutch word for the Juniper berry. Gin has been drunk in England since the 17th Century and quickly became the drink of choice, at one time outselling beer in a six to one ratio!

Gin is used to make many cocktails, the Classic Gin and Tonic, a Gimlet (Gin and Lime Juice), Gin Fizz (Gin Lemon juice and Soda water with ice) , Pimm's (Gin is the base for the most popular Pimm's) , Singapore sling , Tom Collins and White lady to name a few.
