We are delighted to be collaborating with Sarah Jane Rose and Kenilworth Books to bring you this unique "Wine & Words" event.
An opportunity to meet three brilliant authors of Mystery and Thriller books and taste a selection of mysterious wines.
The evening is hosted by Sarah Jane Rose, who is both an Audiobook Narrator and a Wine Consultant, sharing her passion for both worlds in one evening.
Recently, like many others, Sarah's "Wine & Words" evenings have had to be held online, but this new, 2022 event will be at Frazier's Wine Studio, Solihull on Thursday, 7th April (6:30pm - 9:00pm).
Meet the Authors:
Penny Batchelor
Penny Batchelor writes domestic noir thrillers with secrets, lies and lots of twists! Her debut, My Perfect Sister, was longlisted for The Guardian’s Not The Booker Prize 2020.
Adam Wood
Adam is a True Crime Novelist specialising in Ripperology and Victorian Crime. He will be talking to us about his book The Watchmakers Revenge. The incredible true story of murder, suicide and insanity in Victorian Coventry.
A.J. West
A.J.West is an award-winning former BBC journalist, radio broadcaster and voice artist from Buckinghamshire. He has also written for national newspapers and magazines. He will be talking to us about his debut novel The Spirit Engineer, A historical Fiction that explores the subject of spiritualism during the Edwardian period. Wine Tasting:
If that wasn't enough to keep you enthralled, Sarah will be presenting a number of blind wines for you throughout the evening, not revealing their true identities until the very end.
