1997 Bordeaux Vintage

This is a charming vintage. The wines are ripe and delicious with lovely summer fruit flavours of raspberries and cherries. The tannins are soft and velvety. The wines lacking the tannin and structure of the 1996’s have youthful appeal and are now providing excellent drinking, the Clos Du Marquis St Julien is superb.
