The 10 ha domaine, which is now run by son Jean–Marc Pillot, has been in the family for three generations. The premier cru wines are aged in 50% new oak and are bottled after 16 months. They exhibit richness and nervosity in equal measures, no wonder Jean-Marc Pillot is now regarded as one of the top producers in Chassagne.
