Grape: 100% Riesling, harvested by hand, on fine lees for four months with nine further months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
A dry grand cru Riesling from Alsace. A bright, brilliant intense gold colour. On the nose, intense, complex apricot fruits, yellow and white fruits, fine curry and saffron spices, ginger and candied zest, and a note of incense. An ample and chiselled palate that is harmonious yet lively and spicy on the finish.
A great pairing for chicken flavoured with ginger, freshwater fish in a creamy curry sauce and also goes well with Swiss and blue cheeses.
