Cotswolds Dry Gin; a delectable blend of pure wheat spirit with nine carefully-considered botanicals; juniper, coriander, angelica root, Cotswolds lavender and bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper and cardamom seed. The result is a classic well-balanced juniper-led gin with crisp citrus and spice.
On the nose a fresh citrus notes of grapefruit upfront with earthy coriander backed-up by sweet floral juniper. Soft notes of cracked black pepper with a hint of minerality and perfumed Cotswolds lavender. A clean fresh palate with pine spice from the juniper is followed by fresh grapefruit and coriander seed. Black pepper spice builds with a touch of dryness from the angelica root. Light mineral and eucalyptus notes from the bay leaf before subtle notes of lime and lavender. On the palate Clean and balanced. Juniper, citrus and some cooling notes from the bay leaf and cardamom.

Husband and friend were away on boys weekend, they tried this gin and really liked it. Cotswold dry gin goes down great as a straight, maybe with just a splash of water to take the burn off the export strength. I don't like tonic but sparkling water releases a heady pungency.
