Grape variety, 100% Pinot Noir aged in French Oak barriques.
From the Bannockburn vineyard at Domain Road. With dark purple hues this wine is wonderfully complex. Aromas of dark cherry and spice, with hints of violet, are offset by the flavours of richly dark plums and cherry. With good fruit concentration and supportive oak tannins, this wine has a lovely long persistence on the finish.
"Wonderfully complex, youthful and varietal bouquet. Aromas of mineral laden soil and roses, red berries and cherry flesh, mild baking spice qualities of oak and hand new and old wood complexities. Bright, fresh, and fruity with a core of raspberry, cherry and spicy plum flavours. Textures from tannins and acidity add a youthful tautness indication cellar and development time required. Lovely long finish with best drinking from 2024 through 2034."
