Blended from wines of a single year, LBV ages from four to six years in cask and is ready to drink when bottled.
With a lovely fruit nose, with plummy, black cherry aromas, but there are some figgy, chocolaty notes, as well as obvious oak. Well structured palate, with good tannins and a fresh lemony acidity.
Its firm, full-bodied style makes it an ideal match for chocolate desserts and blue cheeses.
