It's now half way through November and Christmas is fast approaching once more. After many months of website only ordering, van deliveries and "Click & Collect", Frazier's Wine Studio is now, once again, open to members of the public, to wine enthusiasts of all kinds and, especially, to those who arrive saying, "I happened to see your sign and wondered if you were open", or "How long have you been here?".
I can confirm that, yes, we'll welcome the buying public/wine browsers/old & new shoppers/casual viewers/wine geeks/corporate customers/pub & restaurant buyers and even those still doing "click & collect" from the website.
If, by chance, you don't fit any of these categories, you're still welcome to purchase your wine from us, as long as it's all legal and proper!
We've spent many an hour moving things around to fit the "shop" back into the building (Xmas tree and decorations to follow...), add some fancy new shelving into the air-conditioned fine wine room to keep it all tidy and "shop-able" to you, the customer.
A large "spirit wall" has been constructed behind the counter, offering a selection that's easy to view, but somewhat challenging to re-stock!
New shelf price tickets show both the single bottle, discounted 6-bottle and 12-bottle rate so you instantly know what you'll pay per bottle.
There is NO minimum purchase and cases may be mixed to get the lower prices on all applicable wines.
Sorry, but spirits, Champagne and fortified wine don't receive discount, or form part of the case (for discount quantity purposes), but you're welcome to buy them instore in any quantity.
The wines listed on the website are all in the shop, although not always on display. Please ask us if you're looking for a particular bottle. A few wines are stored elsewhere "in bond". These will take a few days to arrive with us.
Parking is still available in front of the store. Ring the bell and we'll let you in and give you a "personal shopper" experience. Alternatively, you're happy to browse, but please ask for help, if needed.
Opening times are our normal office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
We'd like to offer you all a drink on arrival, but it might only be a tea or coffee. Wine tastings will resume!
