Grape: 100% Chardonnay, oaked, "lutte raisonée" farming, fermented naturally, matured in oak for 15-18 months

An exotic, floral nose. Low yields give plenty of concentrated flavours. Lovely, creamy fruit; finely balanced, broad and rich with great purity.

Jean-Louis and his son Paul, who joined the domaine this year, continue to vinify an increasing proportion of his wines in 350 litre demi-muids from Meursault-based tonnellerie Damy giving a lighter touch of oak and keeping the wines fresher and more elegant. This is a splendid source of ripe, fruity Puligny, delicious relatively early but with the balance to age well in the medium term.
