On the palate, a creamy entry and ripe, fine-grained tannins build to a richly polished mid-palate, where luxurious layers of fruit mingle with hints of hazelnut, nutmeg, and baking spices.
"The 2017 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon has a ripe nose and is well put together with aromas of black cherries, redcurrant and dark plum with a delicate minerality, soft tobacco notes and red flowers. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is clean and correct with a structured mid-palate that delivers pleasure but decreases in amplitude over the finish. It’s good but not as complex or as voluminous as their other bottlings in the range but delivers at a great price."
