The 2022 Pinot Gris offers excellent aromatic and flavour intensity, with fresh citrus, pear, honeysuckle and spicy notes abounding. The palate is wonderfully textural and has great length of flavour. Bright crunchy acid and savoury spice combine with a delicate minerality resulting in a wine that is both flavoursome and intriguing. Much drier on the palate than many Alsace or New World "Gris" which often have a touch of residual sweetness. This one doesn't!
Matches beautifully with poultry dishes. Try chicken breast with creamy garlic sauce and seasonal vegetables. Also pairs superbly with Asian cuisine and compliments spicy dishes beautifully.
