Grapes: 70% Viura, 15% Garnacha Blanca and 15% Malvasía de Rioja, hand-picked, 4 months in French oak with lees stirring

The 2023 vintage of Muga Blanco has a pale, straw-yellow colour. On the nose, it proves to be a complex wine with aniseed and citrus notes, such as lemon and lemon cake, a touch of white blossom and even some vanilla nuances.

On the palate, the crisp acidity is well balanced by the volume. This is a complex wine in which the citrus and floral notes reappear, together with stone fruit (peach) and a very long finish.

Enjoy over the next three years with full-flavoured grilled fish dishes, shellfish, Paella or turkey.

The vineyards are located in the Oja and Tirón river valleys of La Rioja Alta, but the winery itself is based on the outskirts of Haro, the historical home of La Rioja’s most prestigious bodegas.
