Keeping it "In the pink" for Valentine's Day

Published by Francis Elms on 7th Feb 2020

Remember the date... Friday, February 14th. It's a special day.

Make sure you're keeping it "In the pink" this Valentine's Day.

We can’t do the #roses, but we can definitely do the #champagne and sparkling wine.

Love is in the air, and your #Valentine wine needs to be in the glass, ready chilled, next to the chocolates.

If you need help choosing, then come and see us in the store #FraziersWineStudio #Solihull, or order now, online.

If it has to be the ultimate rosé, to match the flowers, then aspire to the high that is the pure pink of Dom Perignon.

The expressive bouquet, the sublime texture, the fine mousse, the red berries & delicate herbs.

You know the phrase, “If you have to ask the price…” (Actually, £249 per bottle! Surely they're worth it?)

For the non-millionaires amongst us, a suitable alternative Pink Champagne is our "House" label offering by

Baron de Beaupre

A snip at only £30 a bottle. Let me see, that's 8 bottles of "Beaupre" for the same price as 1 bottle of "Dom"?

What a bargain!

A harmonious blend of 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay offers delicate flavours of raspberries and blackberries.

Four years' ageing before release ensures a smooth, balanced wine with just enough freshness on the palate.

Now for something completely different... Sparkling Malbec... from Argentina (of course).

Gouguenheim

An "Extra Brut", so really dry, but with soft, cherry and strawberry aromas on the nose.

It's all #Malbec (and you LOVE Malbec), so it's got to be a great choice as your Valentine bottle?

A really popular wine at a very good price. Yours for £12.75 a bottle.

If you can imagine a wine that has a colour to match roses, then look no further than the Penedes Cava from Spain

Castell d'Olardola Rosado

A sparkling wine made only using local red grape varieties:

Trepat 60%, Monastrell 20%, and Garnatxa 20%.

Like Champagne, the second fermentation is in the bottle, so the fizz is genuine and fine.

A floral and red fruit style that won't break the bank (leaving more to spend on the flowers & chocolates).

All for £11.25 a bottle.

But love is blind, so here at #FraziersWineStudio we can find you lots of hidden delights with plenty of fizz to keep the excitement going right through #ValentinesDay
