Part of the AOC Margaux appellation and lying 30 km north-west of Bordeaux, the vineyard of Château Angludet is situated on a broad plateau of Garonne gravel deposits which it shares with the neighbouring Grands Crus. The wine estate of Château Angludet belongs to the Sichel family, wine merchants in Bordeaux for six generations. Situated in the Médoc on gravel deposits from the Garonne, the estate produces excellent wines under the Margaux appellation, which are often put on a par with a Grands Crus Classés in terms of quality.
