Grapes:  A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 12% Petit Verdot, 15-50 year old vines, organic & biodynamic production, aged 12 months in a combination of French oak (30% new barrels) and, for the first time, in clay amphorae.

With 250 years of continuous grape production and, since 1961, home to the Sichel family, Angludet is a Cru Bourgeois chateau producing wines of Cru Classé quality at the heart of the prestigious appellation of Margaux. It is the responsibility of Benjamin Sichel, whose constant quest for quality is reflected in his policy of drastically limiting the yield of each vine plant and finding the natural balance of the entire vineyard, in order to get the best expression of this exceptional terroir in every glass. Angludet's wines enjoy a worldwide reputation for their elegance, aromatic finesse and their exceptional ageing potential.

"Floral and fruity, the wine focuses you quickly on its bright, vibrant red fruits. The wine is medium-bodied, with a core of red currants, red plums, and strawberries. The fruit is clean and pure, but on the lighter, crisp side of the style range. Elegant and soft on the palate, the wine is refined in the finish."
