Grapes: A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot. 30ha of vineyards wih a yield of 49hl/ha. Practising biodynamic (not certified). Vinified in concrete vats and then given 12 months' ageing in 50% barrels (30% new French oak) and 50% in amphorae.

The expression of the terroir, highlighting finesse, elegance and complexity are the watchwords for 2019 at Angludet.  Beautifully balanced, combining purity and structure, the wine displays great capacity to age well for a considerable number of years. This vintage of Angludet's "La Dame" is a beautiful illustration of the style; generous and gourmand.

Home to the Sichel family since 1961, Château Angludet is one of the oldest properties in the Médoc, with a history which goes back to the twelfth century. 

La Dame d’Angludet is the new name given to the "second wine" from Château Angludet. While it is true that the vines are young, the stock available today is of much better quality than previously. This makes for more “efficient” vine plants which are able to yield fruit more rapidly. This is why today, more than ever, La Dame d’Angludet offers the best quality for price in the entire Margaux appellation, offering dazzling aromatic expression and gentle extract, which is sustained yet delicate.
