Grape: 100% Merlot, unoaked
Produced by Les Vins Alexander Krossa winery in the Languedoc.
Brilliant with a deep garnet hue; intense nose of undergrowth, blackberries, blackcurrants, smooth and elegant attack with notes of ripe black fruits, beautiful aromatic freshness; present but silky tannins.
Grapes are harvested when they are ripe and completely destemmed, after a pre-fermentation cold maceration, the fermentation takes place under controlled temperature. Maceration for 3-4 weeks. Aged in vats for 12 months.
Food match: Meat in sauce, roast meat, duck breast, can be enjoyed with cold cuts and salads.
