Grape: 100% Shiraz, oaked (90% French, 10% American, 16 months ageing in barrel - 10% new oak), fruit sourced from McLaren Flat (70 year old vines), Sellicks Hill (23 year old vines) and Blewitt Springs (21 year old vines) districts of McLaren Vale.
Deep inky purple in colour, our 2021 McLaren Shiraz offers intense blackberry, currants and spice aromas with a background of creamy vanilla oak derived from barrel maturation. The palate is long and dark, bursting with fruit flavour. The mid-palate generosity leads to a classy and elegant finish of great length. Tremendously satisfying, our McLaren Vale Shiraz ticks plenty of boxes for the Shiraz lovers out there.
